I've Been Shaking My Hand All Day Long Awaiting My Google Wave Account!
I have a limited number of invites I'll be emailing out as soon as my account is propagated. There a very limited ways in which to get an invite to the ambitious undertaking Google has made with respect to communication and group collaboration. Google Wave has been released today September 30, 2009 to a very small group of 100,000 select users.
Priority will go to those who have been already accepted and using the sandbox Google Wave Demo as well as a few select Google App users who are paying for subscriptions.
Here are the ways in which you can obtain an account in the immediate future.
GOOGLE WAVE INVITES: HOW TO GET A GOOGLE WAVE INVITE.
1. You have preassigned up for the Google wave invite. There was a form request way back when the sandbox was first introduced. If you had the foresight to fill this out though have not got a development account you may be one of the first 100,000 to receive invites.
2. You Are Already A Sandbox Google Wave Account User. Those like myself who have been testing the sandbox for bugs and application uses will get invites automatically.
3. Paying Subscribers to Google Apps May Receive Invites. Many companies who have purchased subscriptions for other Google Apps may get a crack at this first user invite wave.
4. A Current User of the Google Wave Invites You To Join. Like gmail's original release you can receive limited invites to the wave by users that are already accepted.
